Just because Trump’s backers spent $50,000,000 on an ad campaign, between the time he lost in 2020 by seven million votes, (and an electoral college margin identical to his MANDATE in 2016) to convince his 39% diehard supporters that the election was stolen, brought dozens of failed, evidence-free lawsuits, twisted state election officials’ arms, submitted slates of fake electors, had a detailed plan for Congress to overturn the election results, lateraled the strategic ball to an uncooperative, Constitution obeying Mike Pence, staged a violent assault on the Capitol and all the rest, doesn’t mean that they will do any of these things again. We know who these criminals are. We know who pardoned the worst of the worst. We know he sells pardons, CBS even gave us a price list on their recant 60 Minutes episode — though pointing out that it was perfectly fine, legal, kosher. We know Trump wants his new postmaster general to ignore the Supreme Court and secretly refuse to deliver mail from selected zip codes, as the predecessor postmaster, Trump megadonor and arrogant piece of shit Louis DeJoy, surely did in 2020 and 2024. My hair was on fire before the 2024 election, knowing exactly how DeJoy could put his ass on the scale to benefit his unpopular, incompetent, vicious candidate. I sent mail to friends in other states and tracked how long it took to be delivered, sometimes it was weeks. I followed Jon Ossoff’s visit to the Atlanta regional distribution center, after DeJoy ordered all high speed mail sorting machines dismantled in majority Democratic cities. I tried every way I could think of to get somebody to cover the story, get someone in government to explain why Trump’s postmaster was still on the job and three Biden appointees to the Postal Board of Governors were in limbo. I got no response, not even from Ossoff, who had seen how DeJoy could turn a dial in a given regional center to move on time delivery from 90% to 40% at will. We need to vote early, win the midterms by margins too big for the MAGA election officials to fuck with. We need to stay focused on the goal of overcoming these Nazi fucks, many of whom have been home on vacation until after the election so no vote can be held in the House of Representatives. MAGA Mike “Christian/Constitutional Scholar/Closeted Kewpie Doll” Johnson, taking no chances on any votes that could embarrass his party, and there are many upcoming votes that would.
