Replacing expensive, highly skilled human labor, (skills that take years, even decades to acquire and refine) with instantly “smart”, self-teaching AI is the plan of  insatiable, psychopathic tech billionaires who think of themselves as “disrupters”. Why not disrupt humanity itself, cast all human knowledge and creativity into doubt?

On a more basic level (for these single-minded mega-vultures) why pay these skilled workers big money? It makes no economic sense. Once they have a slave labor force of highly specialized robot laborers, tireless workers they own that can actually form artificial attachments with their human bosses, they won’t have to pay anybody for anything ever again!

Imagine the smart, merciless mechanized armies they could have to defend themselves, the millions of delivery bots to maximize profits, the infinitely pliable, super-realistic personal sex slaves.  And if they have to destroy the Earth, and humanity, to get that perfect unpaid workforce (and the energy and water sucking AI data centers to power these enormous fake human brains are hastening that end), that’s a small price to pay for unlimited power and unimaginable wealth — if you’re a psychopath.

A friend couldn’t recognize this face, a nice painting by my standards, a rare attempt at a portrait, though not a great resemblance. She said it looked SO familiar but she couldn’t place him. She asked Meta AI, which gave her this excellent bit of artificial intelligence knowledge.
