If you add up Sheriff Joe’s accomplishments, the list is pretty impressive.   So what if so many of them were inhuman, vicious and unconstitutional?   That’s what the president’s power to pardon is for, if the president is cut from the same highly refined cloth as the superior, contemptuous guy he’s pardoning.
